A quick view out of the window, that I have looked through a thousand times before. Everything seems normal, but what I see today is fascinatingly different. So much that my eyes are waking up from a concentrated state of trance. I feel drawn in by the beautiful mystery of fast moving light and shadows. Like a fly I forget everything around me and keep glancing at this spectacle in front of me. A moment like any other, hence a very special one.

Having a daily routine can be beneficial in terms of efficiency and workflow. However it is also extremely blindfolding when trying to create photographs on a regular basis.
How do we look at something we have seen hundreds of times before? Do we still engage mentally, or do we at some point become "awake asleep"?
With this series I break through my monotone ordinary structure and capture daily reoccuring places, ways or scenarios in a new, for me unseen light.
